Baby Mollies 2nd Update!!! |
It has been a while since we last updated you on the progress of our little baby Mollies. Unfortunately since our last update another baby died but the other three are still alive and growing every day. We also have some more fantastic news and that is that one of our other female Mollies became pregnant and gave birth to approximately 30 perfectly healthy babies.
We have recently taken some pictures of the Aquarium on our Live Fishcam! and if you look carefully at the images of our breeding net you will see the babies swimming at the surface of the water :-).

We have some fantastic news here at aquariumforum.co.uk, one of our female Mollies gave birth on the 19/06/2010. We were fully prepared for this event and moved her into a seperate compartment the day before. Unfortunately most of the Fry did not make it but five of them managed to survive and are feeding well.
We are looking to add some video footage of the babies in action so watch this space.

New! to aquariumforum.co.uk, you can now view live images on our Live Fishcam! of a 60 litre tropical aquarium in action throughout the day and night.

Sadly we lost one of our baby Mollies yesterday
We were unsure as to whether this baby would have lasted as it was the smallest of the 5 but the good news is the other 4 are looking healthy and still feeding well so fingers crossed guys and girls
